Update...

Just a quick update, this afternoon turned out to be a good day. Got my haircut, had THE CONVERSATION with my mum, and I got all mixed up because tomorrow night, not today, is the surprise party for my buddy. It's been an interesting day. If I'd know cutting off my braids would release so much negativity, I woulda cut my hair long ago.

I'll spot you peeps the whole story sometime this weekend, or if I wake in the middle of the night, then. Oh and yes, the little avatar is based on what I look like. You might actually be seeing my mug on the blog soon...
