Oh, wait. Wrong season. Doctor Who part 2 begins this upcoming Holiday weekend!

So what was the cliffhanger for this season again, eh? Oh yeah the Clara Oswin Oswald (or Whoever) girl. Can I just say I really hate the way TV shows split seasons these days????

Work It, Work It, WERQ IT!

Oh my, my, my. the animated gif to left gave me a good pause. Now, I don't watch any of the fake WWE wrestling anymore, but isn't that Brock Leshnerr? Um, yeah. Work it girl. I have no idea what the context this, but he seems a little comfortable in that sashay.

Anyway, just a few notes. Things are going well this week. The grumpy doldrums have give me a much needed break. Tomorrow I plan on resting a bit before a busy weekend. Saturday, Big D and I are helping his brother move into a new apartment and then Saturday night I'm gathering with my bestie for drinks at a local watering hole. Time to play! LOL

Sunday, well hopefully if Darryl has off, we'll lay up in the bed (cuddlin', no naughty stuff), then possibly do brunch or early supper. I'm so ready for a nice weekend. Maybe Mr. Sun and Brother Warmth will drop by for a visit. Lord knows I'm quite sick of Old Man Winter lingering around.

I thought this picture was cute. I actually have a similar tee, some retro distressed deal I picked up at Target. Anyhoo, Big D and I are going to a gathering commemorating the day after he gets home from later. I never really did anything for the day before, so this should be some new and interesting.

Really? Maybe if this is true, I'll tune in. i haven't watched Saturday Night Live in ages. Nothing personal, but I simply outgrew the show. Plus it just wasn't as funny. I commend them though that the show is still going strong after 35+ years. Not sure, but it should be turning 40 in 2015, no?

Yawn and a stretch. Up and at 'em. Ain't no time to be lounging in bed. There are things to see and people to do! LOL. Well, just kidding on that people to do part...maybe.

I have a busy schedule this weekend and I don't think two days is enough time to complete all my tasks, but I'm gonna try and have some damn fun along the way. Make today count.

Search Me, Review Me, Clear Me

So the most dreaded task has come around and with a flip of the calender, I must comply. Like the Borg say, "Resistence is futile!"

State Auto Inspection! Eek! Lord, pray for us, now and at the time of our parting INDEED!

Now, I gonna be a tad bit more faithful than that, but each the year's inspection fills me with a sense a dread. Whether it's the need for tires, a broken belt, or some other unexpected calamity, the whole process is daunting and most certainly draining. Not only on the mind, but the wallet as well!

I'm sitting texting this post as the mechanic is tending to Volfy's (short for Volfpax, my car's name) care. There's a slight trepidation in my gut because my rear driver's side tire had been squealing and knowing I know BUPKIS about vehicles, I'm nervous in the service somethin' terrible will come back.

Last year it was a bad cellinoid. The year prior I needed new tires. Dang! Volfy is a good car and I treat it well, but a brutha can't be pouring money in the mechanic's pockets like that! Half of it is going to labor charges...LOL

In the end I'm going to be optimistic and have faith. A litle resolve the Universe and the Creator know what they're doing. Money is tight, but where's a will, there will ALWAYS be a way.

Morning Praise

OK, so I'm up and sober now. Decided not to delete my previous posts written while I was drunk. LOL. It's hilarious. You get to see my multifaceted, charming, personality, for sure. Hahaha!

So anyway, it's all good this morning. I'm getting ready to go to church and watching Kyle Washington from BET's College Hill on Ustream. Got laundry in the wash cause I am not dressin up today.

It's hot and yes I am putting on shorts (tasteful ones) and wearing them to service. Breaks my usual church etiquette, but I just wanna be comfortable. And to be sure, God don't care what you wearing to church, only that your butt is a pew, praising His name.
