Cinema 2013?

Out of all the movies I saw last year, I think Spider-Man was the biggest disappointment. I felt a sleep on the damn thing. IMHO, it was just a boring reboot. Marvel, come, be more creative and stop with rebooting all the damn original comic projects! I don't need a new X-Men, Fantastic Four, or who have you everything the principle actor(s) quit the project! That goes for whoever makes Transformers too! Shia knew what the hell he was doing went he left!

With that Rant out of the way, I am looking forward to the second installment of Star Trek, LOL

Every New Year's there's a local Polar Bear Group that takes the plunge into the cold Susquehanna River. I've never done it myself, but I've witnessed it. I always say to myself, "insane people." A friend chastised and admonished, "don't knock it until you try it brosef." Hmph. Don't you know there's hypothermia?!?!? Eeek!

Well, maybe I shouldn't dismiss the activity too soon. I don't get the excitement to being freezing cold, but there's gonna be Polar Plunge for charity I've been asked to donate or participate...Um. Dear me. I'm broke as a joke, so I'm thinking I might do it. It can be tan item off my bucket list! Not that jumping in cold ass water ever was, but you only live once...

What is it about the turn of the annual calender that makes us want to strive to improve ourselves? I dunno, but I long ago stopped making New Year's Resolutions only to break them not only ten minutes into the year! LOL. Yeah, I think that was the year I said I gonna quit smoking. Umm...

Now, let's talk about realistic ventures for the next 3-6-5 days. In 2012 I made some progress with my life intentions, but I have far too many setbacks. I didn't let them get me down, but I didn't moving along as far as I had hoped. For 2013, I want to continue to make strides with my health, bettering myself. In total, I shed only 30 lbs last year. Not bad, but like I said, setbacks. I'm not gonna focus on the negative, only the positive and do what I can to be in a better body, spirit, and mind.

This is no resolution, not intention. This is life baby. And the time is now. I'm gonna take advantage of what there for me and as I say "Be Me, Do Me."
