After hearing some of the comments Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made yesterday in his speech to Columbia University, it really, really, makes me glad I was born an American and not in a country where I'd be put to death for my sexuality. It shows how far the world still has to come with true understanding.
For the brethren trapped in countries like Iran, living in fear,in secret and hiding, my heart goes out to you.
