perhaps he'd look at me
If I was more confident,

he'd torn asunder and give me have a glance
The best of all I have to offer is not enough
My words too tepid to his ears,
My actions ineffective,
My deeds and love too hollow,
desire is not a spark in his furnace
I can only ponder,
