@ Gummi Bare, if you notice, quite appropriately, these states are all in "Red." LOL. No, generally these are places where I'm afraid of the extreme conservatism and negative attitudes.

Yeah, there are a lot of MORONS here. However, you have a lot of wonderful people that live in the big cities (Houston, Austin, Dallas)..Stay away from the small towns and you can't go wrong.
Otherwise, I have NO plans to visit ANY middle American states. I do not want to get lynched.
I luuuuuuv Georgia, Atlanta is awesome. Wish I could be down there this weekend with the awesome celebrations going on...
And grits is right up my alley. Sweet T might be a bit much. Last time I was in Athens, I almost OD'd on Sweet T on a place near UGA campus, The Grit! Lawdhavmercy.
