Black, Jewish, & Faaaabulous!

Since Hanukkah has started, I was curious were there any other famous Black celebrities, besides Sammy Davis, who're Jewish. Did a quick search one Google and Wikipedia and got a nice little gathering. Now some of these folk may not celebrate Hanukkah or even claim to be practicing Jews. In Jewish traditions, the lineage and connection usually stems from mother to child.

Most of my research turned up folks with Jewish mothers, but there are one or two, Lenny Kravitz and Tracee Ellis Ross, for example, who have (had) Jewish fathers. Regardless, let's just put all the guys on my list of "Menz I want for the Holidays," shall we? No disrespect to the ladies, cause your just as beautiful... I'm just sayin'.

Zab Judah, boxer

Maya Rudolph, actress, comedienne

Lenny Kravitz, musician, singer

Tracee Ellis Ross, actress

Craig David, musician, singer-songwriter

Rashida & Kidada Jones, actresses,
pictured with pops "Q," who isn't Jewish
and is not on the list of holiday men.
Although, have you guys seen Quincy III?!?!
Whoo, now I'll take Quincy the 3rd!

Jordan Farmer, baller

Goapele, singer-songwriter

Ben Harper, musician, singer-songwriter

Aubrey Drake Graham, musician, rapper, actor
